Stealing First is an uplifting read. I couldn't put it down once i started. Reading it made me smile. Teddy is a very special person and I'm fortunate to have spent time with him on two occasions while visiting his aunt and uncle (Sue & Greg) in Northern Kentucky. The book is written in Teddy's voice and comes across as very authentic, very real, very much Teddy. He is a very smart guy too. He knows more about lots of things than other people ... especially sports. Not just baseball, but lots of sports ... college and professional as well. The book includes three sets of photos that help bring the book and Teddy to life. We need more people like Teddy. He makes the world a better place to live.

Teddy reminds us all about how we should live our lives. I laughed out loud many times. Wonderful spirit and story!

I know both Mike and Diane and they wrote a fantastic book! highly recommended for any one with a Down Syndrome child or relative. I laughed and cried and can't wait to tell my book club friends that it is a must read
During these times which seem full of negativity, even bordering on hate, Teddy shows us how to live a life full of unconditional love and compassion for our fellow man. The message in this story is to love unconditionally and reach for the stars; never give up on your dreams because all things are possible!
